Oh, how we covet the creations coming from the farm of the Dartmoor Artist!

Since we started following her back in the Lockdown Era (remember that one?), this Devon-loving Dweller, Sarah, as she’s also known, has been B-U-S-Y evolving her never-ending talents.

If you’ve not yet discovered her, you need to: she’s an artist, a flower farmer and an interior designer and she cleverly manages to weave her passions for the playful, colour and sustainability through all her many mediums. Put simply, she’s Dartmoor’s answer to Superwoman.

You might never know what she’s going to do next, but you can always be sure to find plenty of seasonal inspo when you need it. So when we were on the hunt for some quirky, unique and alternative Easter gifts, we knew she’d deliver the goods.

Here are just a few of our favourites we spotted in her shop - for big kids and small:

personalised easter egg box from the Dartmoor Artist

For the bunnies…

Here’s a really cute way to gift them a mini haul of eggs. The quirky Cluckington Palace Egg is created from one of Sarah’s original drawings, then laser cut from sustainable forested poplar. Hand-painted and adorned with lovely farm-grown strawflower and grasses, it can be personalised with the name of your choice.

Each chicken arrives in an egg box decorated with bunny tails. But get cracking, these are hand-painted to order so you’ll need to allow two weeks for delivery. Totally worth the wait, though!

Cluckington Palace Easter Eggs, £24.

personalise hare bookmark from the Dartmoor Artist

For the bookworms…

What’s better than a good book? A good book decorated with a beaut of a bookmark, that’s what! This over-sized, hand-painted and personalised wooden March Hare will see your reader through all their chapters, forevermore! We think it makes for a gorgeous alternative gift if you’re swerving the Easter chocolate overload. Again, allow two weeks for delivery, so be quick with your orders!

Mad as a March Hare Personalised Bookmark, £28.

Spring bird art from the Dartmoor Artist

For the Spring chicks…

Because it’s not just the kids who celebrate at this time of year! Gift that special someone (and that includes you) this cheerful botanical print as a perennial reminder that good times are always around the corner.

Inspired by the Selfish Giant, Oscar Wilde, the print has been taken from original illustrations that have been digitalised. Available as an A4 and A3 print, we think it’ll bring the lucky recipient the same level of joy as a chocolate Lindt bunny - minus the calories!

‘Spring has come at last’ art print, £18-£26.
