SHARK!!!!! (month)
Sink your teeth into this brilliant event, coming to a shore near you!
Ready for a Jawsome July? Given that we love the deep blue in Devon, we couldn’t not tell you about this fascinating-sounding event popping up by the sea this month.
The Shark Trust is returning to Plymouth’s Royal William Yard with an epic month-long showcase, celebrating all things big and toothy.
Now, if you thought sharks were creatures to be feared and avoided at all costs, this line-up will give you a new perspective. Indeed, the leading international conservation charity (based here in Devon, no less) are on a mission to get people engaging positively with sharks, rays and the importance of ocean conservation.
So, what can you expect? Well, there’s a 360-degree VR experience for the tech lovers and even a wine-tasting inspired by Great White habitats, with a whole lot more sharky fun in-between. Take a look at what’s planned below and see for yourself!
We’re not saying you’ll skip into the summer wanting one for a pet, but you might just come away with a newfound appreciation for these misunderstood monsters of the sea.
Shark Trust Photographic Competition Exhibition, all month.
Head to Ocean Studios to see this year’s entries, featuring stunning underwater photography.
